String quartet piece for a degree project focused on scoring soviet cinema

This was my first time composing for string quartet (or any classical ensemble) and I had a project tutor to help direct me to important resources on string composition and arranging, as well as helping to put me in touch with musicians. I found that my experience with mandolin helped with the logistics of string composing, as the mandolin has the same number of strings in the same tuning as the violin. This helped me to think about fingering and whether certain chords were possible and how a violin player might arrange them; this helped refocus this composition outside of my piano-centric composing technique to the instruments for which the composition is written.
